DGA Females

 

Devon Females from Devon Genetics Australia are capable of producing progeny that will excel in any herd. These females are potential ET dams (Donors) and dams of live progeny (produced specially to order).

In the main herd used by DGA over 26% of breeding females are in the top 10% of the Devon breed for 600 day growth.

The list of females has been restricted to 50 cows. Females are loosely ranked by breeding history. The list contains growth performance and carcase data. All cows selected are in the top 10% of the breed for 600 Day Growth and have had at least their first calf. Most of the cows are also in the top 10% of the breed for 200 and 400 Day growth and other traits.

Many other mature females fit the same criteria of fertility and performance. Young females will be added to the list as they pass the test of producing their first healthy and successful calf.
